MELODY SHAHSAVARANI
Melody Shahsavarani is the Music Curation/Sync A&R coordinator at Universal Music Group (UMG), and is a member of She Is The Music’s mentorship committee and City of Hope's Future Hope committee.
In 2018, she began her journey in the music industry with an internship at Amazon Studios’ music department working on domestic and international releases. A year later, Melody transitioned to UMG where she interned for her current department, then to UMG east-coast labels’ (Def Jam, Island, Republic and Verve) sync team, and in 2020 finishing it off with Def Jam’s radio promotions department.
Prior to music, Melody's experience spanned from journalism to public relations.
Her goal? To be a part of an artist's project in any creative capacity, amplifying their ambitions and taking them to the next level in their career.
